PRONOUN OBJET et PRONOUN SUJET

 

Pronoun Objet et Pronoun Sujet

 

Their use is similar to the use of “who” and “that” in English. Qui should be used as a pronoun that replaces a subject and que, to replace objects.

 

Examples:

 

C’est Marc qui parle.

It’s Marc who speaks.

 

Le moniteur que j’ai eu.

The monitor that I had.

 

Le fromage que Marc a manjer hier etait sale.

The cheese that Marc ate yesterday was salty.
