Reflexive pronouns are used to replace a person or an object in a sentence. They should be used according to the table below:

Examples of verbs that require Direct Object:

voyager (to travel)

trouver (to find/think)

aimer (to love)

boire (to drink)

Examples of verbs that require Indirect Objetct:

Parler à (to talk)

Offrir à (to offer)

Telephoner à (to call)

Envoyer à (to send)

Examples - Pronouns Reflexifs:

J’aime ce gateau. Je l’aime!

I love this cake. I love it!

Je trouve cette veste magnifique. Je la trouve très belle.

I think this jacket is great. I think it is great.

Je téléphone à Carlos et Beatrice. Je leur téléphone.

I call Carlos and Beatrice. I call them.

J’offre des fleurs à mon amie. Je lui offre des fleur.

I offer flowers to my friend. I offer her flowers.
